“Michaela”
Michaela’s mother, Norma, lives in the county of Suffolk, time honoured home to many of the great English painters. Norma is a highly talented artist in her own right, as you can see from this painting, one of a number she has created from our travel photographs. This particular one is probably my favourite photo of Michaela, taken in her natural habitat: a bar. On this occasion, a bar in Molfetta, Italy.

I went to Molfetta for an afternoon in 2013. Took the train out of Bari. Did you go to Bari and if so did you like it?

Yes, we did the other way, as in, a day trip by train from Molfetta, so we only had a day in Bari but yes we really liked Bari and all it had to offer. We even ticked off a bucket list item whilst there – eating sea urchin!
