Sunshine After The Rain
We don’t know about the rest of you but here in England right now we’re starting to wonder whatever happened to that global warming thing we’ve heard so much about. It’s almost the middle of June and not only are we struggling to get above 15 degrees but now torrential rains have arrived, some areas of the South East suffering two months’ rainfall in one single deluge. Never mind the greenhouse effect, we’ve not had the patio effect this year, nor even the outdoor beer effect.
This time last year we’d already had several weeks of lovely summer weather; this time around we’re still waiting for it to start. Europe is apparently split into two halves just now, with unseasonably cold and wet weather one side, heatwave the other.
And on Saturday we head to southern Italy, on the other side of this divide. Just look at the contrast we will experience this week:

Wow baking hot in Italy, I don’t think you are going to need to pack the umbrella. Have a great time 🙂
